I'm talking roadsters here. I wanna build a little 4 cyl powered "death rod"(tm) out of some more spare parts I have picked up. Kinda the same format as my old T. No pretty stuff just bare bones.

Just wondering if I find a cowl can most of the rest be bought repop? Never built a roadster pickup. I know there was tons f stuff for the tudor sedans out there.

No cowl,no bed,no roof. What do you get for $3K+ ? A couple doors and a back panel?

Very nice bodies...way out of my price range.

Iwas wondering if I found a cowl etc. what could it be adapted over to. I saw a 28 Ford cowl on eaby but they are mainly used on tudors and coupes. I BE PO.

there is a bloke doing them down here now I think, but the dollar is probably to high to make it worth while at the moment....still at 4k USD not incl the cowl... I think he is like usd 500 for the bed and something similar for the back of the body.

Unkl, that'll buy a complete roadster body....floorboards and all. ON the p/u it 's less.

You can get the beds at Mac Hils Reproductions. Brookville is expensive a guy here made the doors and body, one inch square tubing and sheetmetal, looked great---all you need is a cowl

The Brookville bodies do come with a cowl. Just not the gas tank.

Root, I am a dealer for Brookville. You can buy just the bare pieces to build what you want. Be a few hundred bucks.Cowl top, sides, doors. The rest can be fabbed for a one off pretty easy. I got my catalog at work, email me at aarestor@aol.com

"Very nice bodies...way out of my price range."

Why don't ya wait until someone starts making them in China.
Then we can start a new thread and whine about quality... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Actually, Brookville Model A stuff is not that great.
If you can get your hands on stuff Henry made, opt for that.
