im puttin the heads back on a stock 48 V8 ford flathead...anybody have the torque settings and proper bolt sequence pattern??...i appreciate it

I belive the torque sequence is 25ft. lbs- 38ft. lbs -54ft. lbs. and I know what the patern is, just not the number of the bolts. I'll try to draw somthing up and scan it for ya'.

It doesn't matter much on this post, but as a '48 Ford owner I learned long ago to specify whattitwas--'48 passenger is the last of the early Fords, '48 truck the first of the late Fords. More than enough engine differences to confuse many tech questions.
When I first got the car away from my father and became responsible for fixing it, I learned to always tell parts store clerks to get me the part for a '47--that way it didn't matter which application they actually found in the catalog. Asking them for a '48 part usually resulted in a quick trip to the wrong line in the catalog and a part that looked about right until I tried to install it...

if i ever get this thing presentable ill post some pics...its a troadster on a rails with a short bed...aforementioned 48 flatty w/39 trans
