G'day guys
Anyone have any spec details of the Todd Walling roadster as built by Vern (?) Tardel - Im interested in reproducing the look on my own 27 prject and judging by the side-on shots on the REX Rods site its got a pretty extreme rake. AV8 any details?

Help much appreciated

Steve

The roadster was built by Keith Tardel, not Vern. I'm rushed for time right now but will try to get back to this thread later.

There are various pics through out the site... Look in the "photo album"...

Todd is an incredibly nice guy and that '27 is the best looking '27 roadster EVER built in my opinion. I know those are big words, but ya gotta see the car... It's amazing.

I've never seen the car in person, but I agree. Everything about it is right on the mark. It's inspirational.

Flattiesteve: What's the plan with your T? I'm gathering pace acquiring parts for a 27T roadster project myself. Current thoughts are for a 6-carbed 390 Cad backed by a lasalle trans running a Borg-warner diff, 16" solids and mustang brakes (finned drums!) n a 29 Dodge chassis....but still got to acquire a few things!

Is it just me? I think the 26-27 roadster body is just a thing of ABSOLUTE beauty! Prettier than the deuce(!). Especially the curve to the rear deck (in both planes)...and the cowl! Makes an "A"or deuce look porky.

Beautiful car Eyeball (n Walling/Tardel too)!!
