Still trying to figure out what todays Rat Rod really is, Guess maybe my old beat up 29 ford roadster I bought in 1959 was kinda ratty to most folks but I loved it paid a lot for it too, $35.00 I had invested in it flathead merc and all, I could write a book on the good old days and my wide selection of cheap cars and being raised in Wichita, Kansas just 6 blocks north of dave stuckeys custom body shop, I figure Dave Stuckey was my mentor cause by watching him work I learned a lot, I am 64 years old now and still have the hot rod fever I had in 1959 Guess you never lose it.
