I have a 5 lug chevy rear end and would like to put it in my 62 comet. What changes would i have to make to put the drive shaft into the chevy rear end? Thanks Nate
a thirty dollar "off set" u-joint.
i think some one should have the numbers around here

Our buddy Speedy Bill carries them. Speedway catalog choice between 2 types one is $15.95 the other is $19.95.
any body gota good hook up for a chevy shaft to a ford rear? mavrick 8 inch if it matters. every one around here is like 30 bux aprx

this is basically the setup I have and I hate it.. the "offset" u joint is now my week link.. and I am a sissy because of it.. I dont wanna be too hard on the joint as it may fail AGAIN as it did this summer in Buellton California.. My 2 cents (and what I am havin done this winder) get a custom shaft built with the best parts avalbale..
and another point.. if you make this switch you may need a custom length driveshaft anyhow?? if so you might as well upgrade at the same time
