Ok, so today was a really nice day out, but I had to work...
which means the background isn't a beach or anything fancy,
it's the parking lot behind our shop...

I took some cool pics though, I think, and I cropped them all down
and tried to make them look the best they could...
I took about 20 or so...
I'll post a few, and if you want more, I'll post them too...

If the minivan wasn't in the background I'd swear those pics were taken in 1966 or so.

The paint turned out beautifully...the little scallops below the sail panels are a nice touch.

because the pics don't really show the true colors,
(the camera never does...) the colors are...

Body= House of Kolor Lime Gold Candy over Silver basecoat,
with HOK Gold Pearl Ice added...

Roof= HOK Pagan Gold Candy over Lapis Blue basecoat,
with 4 different metalflakes added...
big and small silver, gold, and blue...

So the roof is a kind of olive green color over the lime gold,
but, in certain light, the metalflakes/pearl ice meld
together and it looks almost like one color..!!

Of course it looks way better in person,
or better yet even, rolling down the street..!!!

Now I just need to get the interior dialed in,
gonna POR-15 the whole interior, replace the heater core,
then my buddys who own a car stereo shop
are gonna hook me up with 'pro' sound deadening material,
gonna do the doors, floor, package tray, etc...
then install the carpet, and do the trunk too...

A few minor mechanicals and door window rubber,
new 4" dropped springs until I can afford airbags,

Oh and Dave, I usually only drive it to work on Sundays...

Nice job...a true customizer knows when to quit...to many people keep making changes just because they can. That's a perfect sixties custom....slicker than owl shit on linoleum...I've love to see the colors in person.

Looking real nice there. Riviera's don't need any heavy body mods, just a lowering and nice paint. Instant bitchin' car. Yours looks really good with the Astro's.
