Hi everybody greetings from northern canada. I have heard alot of good stuff about HAMB from a member who has been rodden for about 57 years. Myself I have done my own work on all my vehicles whether it is mechanical or bodywork. The mechanical end I do not too bad but I need more prectise on the bodywork end. recently bought myself a mig welder and look forward to using it. I have a couple of mustangs to hopefully make one and a 49chev,50 1/2 ton ford truck with factory dump,38 ford tudor. Mustangs I feel comfortable working on but the others I need to learn lots more about getting them going. Presently I have a gentleman who wants to trade me a 37 buick for my 38 ford tudor and I'm not sure about it. Whether they are close to being equal in value or not. They are both in about the same condition and I do like the looks of the 37 buick but not sure if they are of the same value? Any comments would be appreciated.
I live out in the bush here in cananda and have recently gotten the internet because of towers they are putting up here. My children say I am finally coming into the 20th century. I'm quite happy livin in the 19th century out here though. I've grandchildren who I would like to spend time with fixen up some of these vehicles. hopefully pass on some of the love I have of old vehicles to them. It just kinda gets into a persons bones and even though other responsibilities may limit working on the oldies for years the passion is still there.
I'm single now so I have more time for it but than there's the money aspect, I figure a little at a time, slow but sure. All the best to you and yours

Value, and Beauty are somewhat similar, 'in the eye's of the beholder'. Good luck with your choice, and Welcome to the H.A.M.B. from Arkansas City , KS.

Welcome from Dawson Creek, BC.
I think the Ford is probably the more desirable car but that is just me.
Where in Canada are you from?
