Here's some pics I took the other weekend. Finally got around to scanning them.

Here's one of the cars we cruised up with.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/lukes32.jpg

Yes that is a Model A grille. The car was originally a '29 roadster on that chassis. This is his daily driver.

My transport for the day.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/darrens52.jpg

Complete with roulette wheel. Handy for killing time when the big ol' 427 gets a bit warm and you have to stop.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/darrensdonk.jpg

Another car we cruised up with.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/mattsvicky.jpg

Getting arty.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/chryslerdetail.jpg

I always take a pic of this '32.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/fun032.jpg

Nice and clean A Tudor.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/lightgreenatudor.jpg

I think this was once a Dodge.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/52dodgerear.jpg

This was a pretty neat little roadster.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/flamedaroadster.jpg

This was pretty cool too.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/35ute.jpg

More "art".

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/falconwoodydetail.jpg

This Caddy was real nice. The 454 looked right at home.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/redcaddy.jpg

Probably a reason why Darren's Chev always runs hot...

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/satanicparts.jpg

I really liked this coupe.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/35coupe.jpg

...and last but most definitely not least. A Rambler. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/american.jpg

You see. I'm NOT the only person that drives a Rambler... although the guy driving this one was about 60 years old. LOL

Thanks, Brootal.........good photos. Looks like summer is coming on in fine form....people walking around in shirtsleeves and leaves on the trees. There'll be water shortages in no time.
Got our first snow here today.

Here's that woody.

http://www.the-rumbler.com/rickshaws2k3/falconwoody.jpg

...and of course I took a shot of Mark's car. I was trying to get him to take me for a ride so I could get a "Rod Rider"(tm) shot, but he didn't want to lose his power parking spot. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not you too! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mine is exactly where it has been for the last few months. Gathering dust in my "secure parking area".

Big meeting at work tomorrow Carps. Things could change. Not sure if for the better or worse, but you'll hear about it, don't worry.

Maybe sooner than you think, I'm in your town Wed thru Sunday. Booked Wed eve, and Saturday night too, you can call me or I'll call you to arrange the venue for our usual BS session. Anything on up there for saturday?

I'm going to the Grand Opening of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Liverpool on Saturday. Starts at 10am, so it will be an early start as Liverpool way out West.

I'm free any night, but I think something is on Friday.. maybe. I'll have to check with the Social Co-ordinator.

It's not that I have to ask for permission Peddro, it's just that I can never remember what the hell I'm doing tomorrow, let alone 3 days in advance!!!

Besides... I just think you're jealous because no one will marry you. Maybe if you got rid of that girly Mustang you're driving, you might have better luck with the chicky babes. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yeah, cooked meals, clothes washed, ironed and folded, house cleaned and regular unpaid safe sex.

It sure is a real pain in the arse! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's not a rod run, just the official opening of the shop. If you haven't had a Krispy Kremes Doughnut then you haven't lived... although... if you have too many I'm not sure how long you'd live. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I fly back from Adelaide Friday night, get in around 9pm. Want to pick me up from the airport? I know that you know how to get there at least. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sue's got a work Christmas party on, so I'm free. Maybe we can discuss job opportunities. LOL

Yeah, us married guys just head home and there it is along with all our other stuff.

I've heard that travel really saps a bloke's energy so the performance when he finally arrives is never good enough to satisfy!

ZACKLY!

However, the difference is I travel for extended periods on business, not for sex. Thus when I arrive home after a long absence it's whole different matter!

Ever heard the saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now, let's get back to talking hot rods and kustoms.
