Hello. I'm new to the H.A.M.B. and classics in general. My friend recommended that I join. I've found the classified section very helpful in finding potential buys. I'm looking to own a Chevrolet Coupe or Sedan from '41-'48 to restore and cruise around in.
I'm a high school chemistry and physics teacher in Maine. My parents live in a farmhouse in Massachusetts. I'm living with them for the summer, helping out with the yard work. I've picked up some odd jobs and house/petsitting gigs for much needed extra cash.
A 2nd year teacher's salary doesn't allow enough expendable income to buy a completely restored classic. I'm in the market for something that will be a project over the next several years.
