when i first pulled out i floored it and it didnt seem like it wanted to go,but the engine was reving hi,then i realized its cuz the wheels(ok wheel) were spinning

Did you put a big duration Cam in that thing? That would sound wild with a slobbering Cam in it. And no heavier than it is, it wouldn't hurt you too bad on the low end.

Rocky,thats a great idea about the vw baffles.i was looking at motorcycle baffles,but they are real pricey.(like 60 bux a piece x 8 = ouch!)

I'd buy ya beers for a year if ya had a photo of the frame without the body on or a better look at the frontend. I finally pulled the body off the frame yesterday and started to lay out the 2x4 steel for a new frame, must admit all these years about reading how other people do this doesn't really prepare you for actually building one yourself. Well its breakout the chopsaw and tack welder week.

Once again, absolutely awesome!!!
