4" drop axle 46" or 48" which one?

I just ordered my 4" drop beam for my 28 A coupe from speedway:D . I talked to the tech guys and told them what I wanted and they sent me a 46" axle instead of a 48", is that what I needed and what determines which axle to use? I am going to run the car highboy for a while then I (may) add fenders later, and I plan on running 15x4 or 5 wheels with wide whites(if all that makes a difference)

Wrong Board. Post it in the one above this one. But to answer your question the 46" is what I would use especially if you are going to add fenders. I have a 5" dropped magnum that is 46".
