hey just wondering if any one out here has had any luck with lacing old british bike wheels... also i will have some pics of my truck and bikes within a week i hope

glad to see you getting involved on the board.......

you need to do two things.

1 post up some pics of that rare old bike your building...it would fit right in here...

2 go check out the new site www.jockeyjournal.com/forum (http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum) .....it's the same thing as here but instead of hot rods, it's all traditional motorcycles....might be a good place to post this same thread.....many of the people on there are on here too....owned by the same fella.....

I've laced a few... it can be fun, or infuriorating. I wouldn't do another man's wheels, but it's definitely something you can do yourself. If you want to practice, but an old bicycle, and take apart the wheels, then put them back together. It's a good idea (like with drum brakes) to keep one intact, to refer to.
