this is my first effort at joining any car bbs. so i am here to learn, and share my junk with the experts. so i'll start off with a GM question, take it for what it is.
why did the factory insist on making one for trucks and a different one for cars. some 57's made more power and torque than any 57 truck. was it the gear sets/weight transfer? hence is i better to use the truck standard shift bell housing for a torque motor, 425 ft lbs? boring newbie question, forgive me.
