Aloha All,
Greetings from the San Francisco Bay Area. Traditional hot rods, mild customs, muscle cars, drag cars, motorcycles, old minibikes, old slot cars, old BMX bikes and old skateboards are my passion... basically, anything that goes fast. I love Hawaiian music, Tahitian drumming & dancing, the beach, and life. When I stop to think of it all, I have much to be thankful for. I am grateful for this site and its members... Glad to be here!!!
Muchos Mahaloz and Muchas Alohas!
PS. Here's a pic of my Mongoose from BITD (taken at Santa Clara, CA PAL BMX) and a crappy pic of my Chevy.

Thanks for the welcome! While attending school at Los Medanos, I met a couple of good folks who graduated from Liberty High School, in Brentwood, by the names of Ornales and Vernazza.

Aloha from Oregon!
Your purple Chevy looks sweet. Start a thread to show it. Like that mini-trail too.
I'm also a lover of all things Hawaiian. The food, culture, people and most of all the music. Led Kaapana, IZ, Hapa, Fiji, Pandanus club, Keola Beamer, Hawaiian Style Band, Darren Benetiz, Kalapana, Barefoot Warrior, Ho'opi'i Brothers, Typical Hawaiians.
Then we get to the KING of Hawaiian music, Willie K. The locals call him the Hawaiian jukebox. He has a 3 octave voice range, plays guitar like it's an extension of his body. He's the most musically talented person I've ever seen or heard. What he puts on CD is tame compared to his live performances. Sometimes he'll let out a Tarzan yell when he's really wound up. He can belt out traditional Hawaiian that gives me 'chicken skin' or also known as goosebumps to Haoles.
We've known him for close to 20 years and see him every chance we get. Took my mother-in-law ro see him at Maui Community College with Willie Nelson a few years ago. She told me her life was complete after seeing her 2 favorite Willies at once.

Here's Willie and my son Travis at the Roseland Theater in Portland before the show. Travis has played with Willie at Hapas in Kihei Maui. They get caught up in guitar-talk whenever they're together. Willie is a really cool guy. He usually plays a gig or two in your area during the summer months.

Howzit LowKat,
Sheesh... I forgot to mention in my intro that I'm also interested in all things TIKI!!! Mahalo for sharing your pics. Love your taste in home decor and your sense of style, brah! Been a big fan of Ilona Irvine for a while. Also enjoy listening to IZ, Sistah Robi and Keal'i Reichel. I was recently given a CD called Hula Jazz by a singer named Owana Salazar... Wow, that gal has an incredible voice!!!
Keep up the great carving work and malama pono!!!
