I took these pictures of the fabled belly tank at disneyland a few weeks ago . I remember someone talking about how they saw it but never took a picture , or something . . . anyhow I took these expressly to post on here . It looks as though whoever build it knew what they were doing , all the bits and pieces are real car parts . and it looks like you could fire it up on that stand and hear those pipes crackle .

it is actually in the California park across the street . it is just stuck up in the lift , in some crazy gift shop .

Alot of the Younger Hot Rodders work for Disney in the Burbank area as
Production People...
Ask Donnie (Lownslow) I think he was one of them...

you know what . . . I know that some of the Choppers guys work for Disney too . I wonder if any of those fuckers had anything to do with that heap . seriously , if you get up close to that thing you can see how detailed it is . it really looks like an actual running car . of course I couldnt see inside , or the motor or anything , but it sure is cool . I sold a 21 stud flathead to an Aussie that said that it was his old tank that he ran in Australia and at El Mirage. He said it went in the 255mph range at el mirage.
He said he sold it to a guy who ran it for a while then sold it to DL.
