Hi all! I'm new to the site and enjoying it very much so far!
A little background.....I bought my first car at age 15 while living in Newburgh, N.Y.. It was a '52 Pontiac w/ a straight-8. I got it out of a "junk yard" which was located next to a buddy's family home. I paid $10 for it! It didn't run at the time, so after some convincing, my dad agreed to tow it home. Fortunately, I had a next door neighbor with some good automotive knowledge and he helped me get her running. I had to leave her behind (sold for $50) upon our family move here to Phoenix back in '65.
Since then, I have owned a '53 Ford, '66 Fairlane Convertible, '40 Ford sedan rod, '48 Anglia rod, '40 Ford Coupe rod, and now my "keeper" '41 Willys coupe.
This latest adventure seems to be never ending as I've never done a complete project car before. Right now I'm trying to get the brake system together.
Anyway, thanks for bearing with me! And by the way, any suggestions on my project will be greatly appreciated!
