Bogus 235...don't shoot me!

Hey, so I'm still working on this 6 cyl project to put into a lakes car. Anyway it's a 250 chevy and I'm just at the gathering parts stage.I've got some high domed pistons from a 307 that will give me about 12:1 (yeah baby)I've made a four carb manifold that looks kinda sweet, but there is something wrong with this motor.It still looks like a 250 chev!The valve cover on those motors is butt ugly! So out to the junk pile I go and see if I can make something that looks better. I had a 235 cover and took it in to see what it would take to make it fit.The 235 is exactly the same length as the 250 ,but it's about an inch and a half wider. So this is what I came up with....

Looks real good, i was gonna do something similar for the 250 in my '61 Biscayne.

Now that's clever. But beware the valve cover swapping police will be on your ass.

I always hated the fluted late 6 valve covers. Makes the engine look like a damn Ford, and that ain't good.
