I just picked up a 41 International, does anyone have any pictures of one of these things? Does anybody else have one and have some ideas for brake swaps etc.?

Thanks
Duke

My wifes Grandpa had one that was in excellent original condition. Before I even knew it was for sale, he had it sold for $500.

Here is a clean stocker. This one is supposedly a '48, but I seem to recall that IH trucks were titled based on what year they were originally sold. Congrats on the new ride.

Thanks Guys! Von T I would love to see some more pics of that truck. The one I picked up is missing the box, I plan on using a late 30 to 40s box from a GM or Ford (easier to find). I don't have any pics of mine yet, but I will post them when I have them. I got a really good deal on the truck because it got burned in one of the big forest fires that were up here this summer. The fire distroyed the glass, tires, seat and carb, but the metal is good with very little rust. The heat from the burning tires heated all of the springs, so even with new tires the truck sits really low.

Got Milk? Not exactly a pickup but a cool International anyway.

A guy down here has a red pro-street 41 [KB-1} with a tailgate embossed with "Knox feeds", healthy sbc, slammed and a license plate that says "Ei Ei O"
I think they're much better looking than the fords, chevys and dodges of those years.....
A burned truck could soak up millions of hours in body work....shrinking out waves in metal...good luck.

Funny - here's a pile of Internationals we saw in Buena Vista, CO., in Sept. Had to stop and snap a few pics...

Here is a pic of a 41 in MooseJaw that a friend of mine is building on a 108 inch S-10 frame. He trashed a used S-10 with V-6 drivetrain and has less than $1500 in it.

Another pic. He bent the front pan up towing it when the tow bar broke.

Last one, maybe not traditional on a S-10 frame but definitely cheap to do. By the way, the rear cab bolts lined rite up with the rear cab mounts on the frame. The box is homemade. Pedals, steering, motor, tranny and rear end are all stock S-10. Frame is as it came except for extra mounts for body, sheetmetal, etc.

We put one on an S-10 frame too. Sorry no pics. Instead of the stock rear fenders we used 46 dodge fenders from Class Glass. Took the speedlines off and they looked better than the originals. Never cared for the shape of the rear fenders.

Hey thanks for all the great pictures. That S-10 frame idea sounds really good.
