Hello all,
Hope everyone is doing good. I just got told about this site today and look forward to reading the tech threads about flatheads. I'm starting to build a 1950 ford F1, all original and its my first flathead build.

Nice to see a few fellow hot rodders from nebraska, thought I was a lonewolf here. I got pictures on my profile now. Still trying to figure out how to post them in posts. Thanks for all the welcomes!

I live in north platte. Really needing to find a machine shop close by that knows about flatheads too. If any of ya'll nebraska rodders could help, would be appreciated highly.

Another welcome from the Buckeye State (OH-IO!). I'm into Model A's myself, but my son is knee deep into flatheads. Real motors don't have valve covers and I'm wearing my asbestos underwear for when I get flamed for that comment. You'll get lots of information and help on this website, and lots of good general reading and looking.

I'm trying to decide for my next project after the truck is done. Need some help. Go all out and do a blown flathead powered front engine dragster or just get a 57 chevy and build a gasser. I know where I can get a rolling chassis 57 for 1200 and looked at the price of a FED and that kinda scared me. Whats ya'lls opinions?
