No, it's only striped on the one side, it's about 7" X 18" smoked plexi.

I finished up the Desk Top Art Work late 30s coupe this week (sold it in the HAMB classifieds) but I'll post up a few pics of the finished product.

Also did my first rendition of a Desk Top Art Work chopper bike (for sale in the classifieds).

Last are a few pictures of the Desk Top Art Work Hemi Willys coupe (also in the classifieds), the Willys is kinda unusual for me. My car club has a pinewood derby race every year. We have a few "classes" for our derby cars, one of which is called the "Cheater class." The rules for the cheater class are pretty simple: 1) There has to be wood someplace on the car. 2) The track is 3 1/2" wide.
The willys was my entry into the cheater class. This one has plastic wheels and axle from a pinewood derby car, and actuall rolls. Gene

Hey leadsleadolds...sweet pinstriping on the HEMI cover. Who'da thunk about putting one on that...oh yeah, you mentioned he was a yuppie!

Here's your next disclaimier: "If you're a yuppie, please add an additional 30% to total bill. No need to ask why, just cuz."

You shouldn't talk shit on your customers. You'd be surprised how small the internet really is. James owns an upholstry shop and could help you down the road if you were to ever to need it. Not to mention he's a total gearhead.

Nevertheless, he and the rest of the 300c crowd loved your striping regardless of your lack of respect for your customers.

I was the one that recomended he contact you.

These are some pics I got off Riks site of my striping on the Copper Dust Barris Olds owned by Pat Orsillo. Id show the dash but I dont have detailedpics of it. Pat wanted me to make my style more crude or "old school to fit the era! I did it but it was the first time Ive ever tried to make mistakes.
I felt like I was trying to fall off a bike! After it was said and done,it was Pats favorie part of the striping.

Nice portraits.Il ike the 1st graphite with conte.Captures Rembrants whole tenebristic(tenebrism-chiascuro) style.
rich^vic do you find the pen and ink easier?I love to work in graphite.I can smear and blend to help my effects.Pen and ink is just a different style for me and not sometihng I do regularly.

Dig the portraits, man!
painted this as I sat outside Southside Tatt on Thursday. Good turn out and sold a few pieces. Next up-official website. I'd like to link to a couple of artist's sites.
Any takers?

rich^vic
03-05-2005, 06:20 PM
Nah.. pen and ink is time consuming and rapidographs always clog up like crazy after about 2 hours or use on thick toothy paper.. and you have to plan most of it in hard pencil anyway. But I like the way it looks when it's done. :) Bradberry's stuff makes me want to break out the graphite though..
