Well, that I just bought, anyhow. I'm still trying to get it down to my shop... here it is in its current state sitting at my friend Steve's girlfriends parents house. I'll post progress picutres as I get going, but here it is in the "before" state. "During" and "After" shots will come soon, I hope!

You master photo shoppers feel free to go nuts...

im still kicking around leaving the straight 6 in it or swapping to a 350. Its got the 216 in there now, so if I stay with a straight 6 I might try to upgrade to a 235 or 261. If anyone has any leads on one out in the northeast, lemme know!

I do too! I can remember being 8 yrs old and playing in one that my father had with my sister in the car. We were parked on a hill. I accidently kicked it out of gear and we went for a wild ride. My first drive http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Needless to say my sister still won't ride with me. These are cool looking chopped and/or gasser style. Good find.

I've got a 235 and powerglide out of a friends 60 chevy. It runs great.$200.00 If you pick it up.

Hatch, thanks for the photoshop! *Excellent* (In Mr. Burns voice). I definitely planned to take that fender rock guard off, clean her up, and new wheels. Good to see what she'll look like! I plan on running flames down the entire car. You got some you can put on there quick?
