Hi, I haven't been on the HAMB for a long time, probably around 3 years. Glad to be here again. I live in Kenosha and have a 39 pontiac Chieftan. I've recently had a child and find that I just can't get into the garage to work on the car...so I'm trying to sell it. Hopefully in 5 or so years I can get another project car that my daughter can help me work on. I want to pass on the passion.

Welcome from New Zealand. Hang onto the car if you can and your daughter can grow up remembering how she helped you from a very early age. I can remember putting my then-infant son in an old van I owned while I rebuilt the brakes, etc. while he napped. He was a gearhead ever since! :D

Hi HotDonna,
I also took a leave of absence from cars when I started multiplying. Now that my girls are 13 and 15 I'm back again. I have a -30 Tudor and recently purchased a -28 Tudor and a -29 Tudor. The -29 will be my big project for next winter.
Cheers,
TudorChris
PS. Love the 70s show...

Hey HotDonna, I know what you mean about having a baby and then the time to do things other than take care of the kids gets placed on the sidelines. Babies are definitley worth it though. Just keep the passion for the car in your heart and share with your baby. I'm sure your baby will appreciate it in the long run.
