Trying to decide whether or not to add graphics or pinstriping to the wayfarer any suggestions?

Graphics?!? NOOOOOO! Scallops could work. Pinstriping would be good.

I meant something like scallops or flames, not gaudy 80's style graphics. YUK
yeah i was thinking some cool tanish cooler scalops could work.

Tinbender, do you teach at SCC? I read your post about a restoration class. I'm 25 years old and just graduated from EWU with a biology degree, but I kinda have cars on the brain. Do you have any classes on fiberglass? I have an idea for a new product, but would like to have more background than magazine articles before I start building.

That's what I was thinking too, but friends of mine (who all have flamed cars, mind you) keep telling me it needs something to break up all the blue.

That's a great lookin' ride as is but I could see scallops to break up the blue.

Don't listen to your friends if you like it leave it alone. Your car is unique, keep it that way. I like it clean, like how it is. Sometimes a car is successful by just being a well detailled car. Anyone can pull off a flamed car and grab attention (CALM down I am not trying to knock anyone!). At most I could see a little bit of pin stripe work but not a whole lot. Meis Van der Rohe said it best "less is more"...
my .0002 cents

Thanks guys for the compliments. It's been a long time coming getting this car done, but I've still never seen another one. I guess we picked a good color and we should just stick with that. BTW, this car was homebuilt for $15K
