Does anyone know if 57 ford auto-trans' have a Transmission filter?
Anyone know what I'd tell the
"parts monkey" at Kragen to look for?
(I tend to get a
"why-the-hell-are-you-making-me-look-for-that-old-PIECE-when-you-know-we-won't-have-it"
look whenever I ask for 57 ford parts...)

I'm planning on changing out the trans fluid,
and there's really no sense in doing that if I don't change the FILTER too,
right?

Also, should be obvious, but worth telling: use Type F fluid, not mercon or dexron. Your trans is the Ford-O-Matic (POS-O-Matic).

that trans was REBUILT by a LOCAL guy that I will SPEAK for and VOUCH for,,,

it was a favor to us at LOWBOMB CUSTOMS....

The trans pan gasket I gave you is the one you need for that PAN.....

we need to hook up anyways for the other shit.....

I think you should RE-WIRE the car,,
Get a different CARB,,,
and run some NEWER gauges
STEWART WARNER is my choice......

also on the RE-WIRE we can go ONE WIRE alt.
with internal REGULATOR,
and wire RADIO to a FUSE PANEL...
