My name is Gary, and my main building interest is rods and customs. I think I do pretty well in the concept and construction phases of my models, but I'm weak in painting and detailing. I have an un-used airbrush, compressor etc.. I really enjoy modifying what I get from kits and just can't seem to build anything out of the box. I'm going on 66 and am a retired toolmaker. I retired two years ago and found my old modeling hobby was just what I needed to occupy my time. I'm having the time of my life, back on the bench.
