Hey,

Ive been visiting the forum for a few weeks and decided to take the plunge and join in. Seems there is a wealth of information available.

I'm the opitome of "newbie".

Worked on restoring old Japanese motorcycles for a while, but found little time to ride and realized it made more sense to find a hobby that I could enjoy with my wife and kids.

Found a 60' Lesabre on ebay, Bought it Monday, picked it up Tuesday and have had more fun in the last 4 months than I had the entire time I was restoring bikes.

Since its purchase, I rebuilt the Dynaflop tranny, all new brakes (love them drums!!) threw on a ghetto lower job (cut coils, actually rides better), retired the factory hubcaps, made my own spider caps and drove the crap out of it.

I'll probably keep a low profile, just trying to pick up info. Hopefully wont ask too many stupid questions, but if I do.......Be Gentle!!

Thanks to all,
T
