What do you all think of having a an honest to goodness, HAMB Holiday shin-dig get together type of deal? I have met a few of you, but this "chapter" of the HAMB seems to be pretty darn elusive when it comes to getting together. I'll be happy to offer my place to meet (plenty of parking, jacuzzi, outside fire pit)if we need a place and I'll spring for the main course......what else, but a HAM! What do you think? What's a good date? I think we're long over due. Come on, don't be shy...

Since we have some of our neighbors to the North expressing interest, why don't we start at 3PM or so. As I mentioned earlier, I'll spring for a HAM and mixers, BYOB and a side dish or two.

I'm out in La Mesa (near SDSU), I'll post directions once we agree on a date. This should be fun!

I'm at 5925 Highgate Ct in La Mesa, CA. I suggest you Mapquest it for custom directions, but I am in the general area of Lake Murray.

I will be providing a ham, probaly the first round of beers and mixers. To get an idea of how big of a ham we need, please speak up so I can get a head count. It would be helpful if people brought sides, chips, and anything else to share. I also have a BBQ that we can fire up too if anyone wants to bring things to grill. I'm also going to splurge and heat the jacuzzi if anyone wants to bring their suit(this is a family neighborhood, so we'll be enforcing the mandatory suit rule, sorry http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif).

I'll take some pics for ya Denise, although raaf is the real photographer (I'm sure he'll be snappin' a few as well). I just got back from DC late Thursday and played golf Friday at 7:30 AM, it was really nice to get out of the snow and back to the sun!
