Hello all! My wife and I are both active duty USAF with around 19 years in each so far. We own a 40 Merc convertible (all stock) along with a 69 Talladega with a real 427 SOHC in it, and a couple of 50 Ford Coupes. We are both big into the Flatheads but like anything different. It is a challenged moving all of our stuff when the GOV says to but we hope to stay in Missouri until we retire. Hope to make the drags this year even if it is just to watch.

Welcome to both!! How could I not welcome anyone who is into flatheads and also has a REAL genuine Mini Cooper S (aka baby rocket)!! I know the Minis very well. Raced a few back in the 60s. Need photos and words about the cars. A 427, huh? Photos....words!!

Thanks TMan, I am assuming you mean Ellsworth AFB or maybe Eielson AFB, either way we have been to both, both my wife and I were flying crew chiefs on KC-10 tankers so we have covered a lot of ground in our 12 years with that aircraft. FLATHEADGUY; Hope to post some pictures soon, my mini is not much to look at right now, funny you mention race car, it was an old race car run in Iowa back in the early 70's with a one piece glass front end.
