It's for a Chevy but I've never seen one like it and I been around the farm a few times. Any body got an idea?

that is for dropping oil in,

like in GRAVITY FEED,

WHY is it straight out like that?

and what are the empty holes for?

zirks?

vents?

and what's with the screw clamp/cover??

What kinda points? Type adjust with allen wrench type tool & dwell meter or old style? Does it have a tach drive? Maybe out of a big truck?

These are all questions I'm asking. It has Allen wrench type points. One guy said maybe 348/409 fuel injection.
Don't know thats why I'm here. Somebody out there must know what it fits.

32nd edit. Hollander says both 1112796 & 1112797 are Chevy Tr. Late '64-'65 348" & 409" eng.

Chevy truck 348/409? That looks oddball... I will check my magic black book when I get home.
