You don't need luck...you need bolts. Welcome to the HAMB from the west side of ILLinois.

Welcome , I think you should start by changing your name to Lucky, kick back a little and start with a good plan. Then maybe all your ducks will fall into a row. Good luck with your project, Questions? This is the place to find the answers.

I am planning to make a 4 seater from two standard bodies. Make it very low, trying to find all of my parts dirt cheap.

"People always call it luck when you've acted more sensibly than they have."

With a T-Bucket, you've picked the perfect starter for a broke budget. Just keep your eyes open for deals. Make it a roller before you invest in speed equipment or chrome doodads for the engine.

A wise man (Chester Greenhalgh) once said, "I find it a lot more enjoyable sitting on a front tire or on my knees working on a clean near-finished roadster, than to spend all my first bread on a pretty block on an engine stand, with nothing else in the garage but daydreams."

Don't think as yourself as broke, just bent for the time being. Think positive and inventive and things will come together for you. Good Luck. And Welcome!

If you want a 4 seater why not build a sedan with the top cut off that way you only need one body. They also made phatons or 4 door tourings.

welcome...know a guy that started a T project, BROKE....went on for 11 years and two marriages but got it done...shot the final finshed paint "FREE" at my spray booth....nice guy but we all nicknamed him 'Whiner' as he was always begging and wanting stuff.....Anyway he has since built another T and has kinda earned respect by doing work for others in trade for parts he needs....."Good Luck", if that's what you call it
