Tsk, Tsk, what you failed to point out is, that the '83 Corvette didn't even exist. '82 was the last year of the 'shark' style, and retooling took place and we had the next vette in '84.. I don't recall anyone saying anything about this, or did I miss it?

1) I welcome people to the Hamb sometimes, to do just that, make them feel welcome.(usually without reading their profile first)
2) After reading your profile, I was also fooled by your so called "joke". I did not jump on the bandwagon, just ventilated my thoughts.
3) It seems quite unusual to have this many friends in 6 months. A lot of people here on the Hamb thought this was strange. They (me included) thought you were into selling vettes and parts, even though this was meant to be "humorous".
4)Considering a lot of guys here have reacted the way they have, I hope you realise that your "joke"has not gone down well.
5)There is no need to threaten anyone with a court case, this is totally uncalled for.

(Nearly) everyone here on the Hamb treat other members with respect.

My advice: maybe change your profile? and enjoy the Hamb. There really are a lot of great people here. No one is here to offend you.

1. you never once contacted me about a friendship request. (felt a little left out)
2. I should have emailed you privately, maybe then my email could have been read as meant to be. The printed word sometimes is mistaken as to the intent. I have had a '82 vette since 1985, so I knew that there wasn't any '83's, and I meant to imply that no one caught on to this as humour. Any other interpretation wasn't meant................for this I plead inept if that is the case.

This would have saved you from the response that you got. What is respectful about you calling us a bunch of dumbasses? Your "so called" joke was a flop, nobody got it!

It is kinda cool to learn about '83 vettes though, good link posted about the history of that lone '83 they saved. Little tidbits of history about the big 3 are always interesting to me....
