New guy here from Pa.... been a motorhead since childhood, now, over 80 cars later, I'm 63 and enjoy the hobby more than ever. I built a mild custom 50 Olds 88 in 1970, got a good offer on it at a National Olds Club meet in 1972, and like a dumbass I sold it. Well, just recently had a chance to buy the car back. In 38 years the car only had 1690 miles put on it and currently has only 59,475 miles on the odometer. Man, I always loved this car and regretted selling it, sometimes I just sit and look at it and can't believe I have it back.... I'm sure some of you guys know this feeling. I think the Hamb is great and glad to be a part of it.
Ron

Ron: Really nice looking car and a great story of on finding it again.

Welcome from the West Coast of Florida and the land of sunshine.

I have always loved the cars from the late 40's and early 50's and I only wish I had not also sold my 51 Chevy Coupe years ago. I think the car got shipped out of the country.

You are very lucky to have found the car again and had the chance to buy it back. I only wish I could be so lucky.

Hey Ron...Great Story...Welcome from Carroll County Md. It must have felt great to get an old car of yours back after all that time. Its also a similar feeling to finally get the car you've wanted for years, as I did with my 40 Coupe. Congrats
