Got a McGurk catalog from 59' and the Olds Cam Parts numbers in the catalog all start with OL (as in OL-6, or OL-70). I also chceked some old Engle and Isky catalogs and none of the listed parts numbers begin with M.
Howards Cams did have some listings that began with M (meaning Mild Full Race Grind) but I could not find your number. Could be a Crane, Clay Smith, Almquist, Weber or another manufacturer's cam too.
And I have found that the catalog number doesn't always mean that the code on the cam will be the same. Maybe Don_Wow has an idea who might have made it. You could email HAMBer Pinstriper, as he has all sorts of old catalogs at his Speed Shop.
