Hey guys Gary from Massachusetts glad to have joined. I have enjoyed many great cars, forums & lots of knowledge here on H.A.M.B.. Besides all that, the reason I joined is I am on a quest that so many others here I'm sure have been on before. Researching and documenting the history of our cars. Talk about a challenge.(So far so good though) well I own a 66 Chevelle conv.SS 396 that's the quest. and I also have a 1980 mustang w/a 1985 302 carburetor , built up a little, T-5 tranny, 8"quad shock rear end w/355s. That's a toy. Well I'm no gearhead maybe more like a backyard mech. that was born in the wrong era. Well I hope the members of H.A.M..B. and all there knowledge might be able to help me find what I'm looking for thanks. Bibs396

Just what we need.. another flatlander..:p Welcome from New Hampshire. What part of Mass ? Just a friendly warning too. Don't talk about the Mustang and NEVER post any pics of it. The Chevelle sounds cool.

Welcome from an ex-Bostonian. Check the warning above about the "newer" Mustang. Talk about it very little, if at all. And NEVER post photos. But, the 66 Chevelle Convt, yeah!!

Hey guys thanks for the greetings and warnings. NH bandit I live in Southern mass. bordering RI. It seems to me that the only smart flatlander is ex-bostonian for leaving TAXACHUSETTS. Well back to the Chevelle That's the reason I joined. If you want information go to those that know. So here I am. hope you guys at HAMB can help.As I said I own a 66 Chevelle conv. SS true 13867 and I have many books etc. Just not enough info.. I am researching its history and so far I'm at a person named Don Baldelli who raced it at New England Dragway not sure what year or years. The 11 class winner stickers on the car are yellow & some are white(clear). Joe from ned said that those stickers should tell what years it could have raced. Obviously before they stoped convts. with out roll bars from racing for it dose not have one . There are still tow bars on the front of the car. the car could have been ( original color Teal ) or Black. It looks so far I am the sixth owner if Don is the original owner I believed he lived in either Southboro Mass. or Ashland Mass. any one with any info., pictures, knowledge etc. about Don Baldelli or a 66 Chevelle convt. SS that ran well at ned would be much appreciated Thanks Bibs396file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/gary/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-1.pngfile:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/gary/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.png
