hey guys.

I noticed that a bunch of ya'll are from the 'Ville or surrounding areas. Anyone here ever drag race out at Fairview/Dickson in the middle-late 60's early 70's? Ya mighta knew my pops. He knew a bunch of people around. He worked at the old Gardner's Machine out on Trinity Lane back around '75 to '76.

I sure wish I had pictures of that old dragstrip. It's tore down now. :(

Hey Bucky.... I hear from my source - Andy - that you have now crossed over from the Chevy side and now are a FORD man. I knew you'd come to your senses.

I know where 2 mid 50s ford 2 doors are in Birmingham, but they may be more than what you want to tackle... Let me know and I'll give you directions to Pop's barn so you can go have a look-see.

Lessee, where to start, first of all, yes we got all our shit stolen, twice. I am no longer in BR549, i quit about 4 months ago. Ass Gasket, no I havent made your tape, My copy is in storage somewhere and I have yet to locate it. Sparky, just for your info, If all goes to plan I will be rollin in a couple months, all I'm gonna say is flattie. Bobby, grace was sayin you know where there is a model A sedan down in alabama, and us guys at the shop are salivating, give us a ring during the day at 615 794-4516 and give us the scoop.


Trent, nice to see you still around, damn shame I never got back up that way. hows that chevy, my box still sports my 'rockstars' sticker.
