Hi fellas,
After reading this forum on and off for years I finally signed up. I was a mechanic for 28 years and have been a High School Autoshop Instructor for the last 13. I try to teach fabrication as well as normal car stuff. We autocross, do track events, car shows, drag race...anything we can with the assortment of projects we build here in the Gunn High Autoshop. Check us out at www.gunnautotech.com (http://www.gunnautotech.com)

That's great that you still have an autoshop there.I had auto back in the mid 70's in high school, but what got me interested in customizing and working with metal was when i had metalshop class in 7th,8th,and 9th grade! with the well known 40's hot rod pioneer Bill Burke as my instructor(did not know it at the time). He drove a green '32 ford cabriolet highboy to work and parked it in the street!!Anyway...WELCOME

Welcome to the HAMB Mike.. We sure didn't have projects like that when I took Auto shop back in ---1. You might want to do a Bonneville project some day........

To bad they don't have autoshop around my neck of the woods (Dubai). I have always wanted an autoshop at my school. Looks like you guys have some neat projects. Is that a real Jungle Jim car on your web site?
