I'm Jason from Escondido. I've been lurkin on HAMB forever but never properly introduced myself. I'm not working on much right now. Except for kid's tricycles and my '62 Dodge 880.

Boy thats a family car if I ever seen one. We need to get you to at least customize that boat.:D

Funny you mention "family car", I installed seatbelts and put in a baby carseat so I can tug my rugrats around in style. I was messin around in photochop and aspire to something like this:

Big Block 361.. not necessarily hot rod mill but man it sounds mean.

It's a stock color "coral".. it won't be that for long since that's why they invented paint.:D

Awesome to have you here.... I got a thing for 880's, my friend has a '61, do the '68s still have the spedometer that was a dome on top of the dash and the push button transmissions?

Welcome.

Most people around hate the "more door" ... but I dig them as family cars. Nothing says Kooky-Cool Family more than a big'ol 4 door land yacht.

Post some pics once you lower that thing. Oh yeah....paint it orange!

That 61 DeSoto is legendary around here. It's like spotting a unicorn in the wild. My wife followed it out near Valley Pkwy one day, she called me at work and told me about it. A few weeks later I saw it near the Hwy-78 once. I totally know what car you're talking about, if it's yours it's the hottest ride i've seen in town.

Not to be too off topic but I'd like to see some more of your photography. I'm fixing on doing some photography myself.

I absolutely love those '62-'64 Custom 880's. It was kinda the stop-gap replacement for the DeSoto line that went away. I would love to see more photos. It looks to be in great shape.....a rarety for those Custom 880's.
