Fellow Hamber and all around great guy Chazzin laid some lines down on an old cooler for me while we were at the Turkey Run. I intended to share these with you guys sooner but the camera's owner just emailed these to me this past week (notice how I convienently passed the blame on to someone else??:D). I was just about to post a picture of what my wife, Gloria got me for Christmas this year. I was stunned and ecstatic - it is hands-down the BEST Christmas present I have ever received. Fortunately I read this week's thread before posting and see that Ed beat me to it!!! That's right, I got an Ed Tillrock original for Christmas! Not only that, it was of The Roadster! The gift works on so many emotional levels that it's amazing. I'm a very lucky guy. Thanks, Glo! Thanks, Ed!

I couldn't post a pic of Ed's art without contributing something to the show so I may as well post this anyway. It's a panel heading to the Pinstripe Legends event in Milwaukee next weekend. All the proceeds go to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Here's my meagre contribution - playing around with moving off practice panels & onto real stuff. Silver is a little strong but I actually quite like how it & the dark grey become more and less visible as you move around the car. Couple hundred hours more practice needed!!

Thanks Neal, your drawing came out great!

Great show everyone!
Here are a couple pencil drawing commission jobs (aka Christmas presents) The Deuce roadster was for some real good friends of mine. (Some of you may recognize Larry and Gloria's beautiful '32)

The term "Simply Amazing" just doesn't seem to justify this kind of work, nor does many other complimentry adjectives. Astounding may be more like it. I'm lucky enough to be able to see Ed's work and get to know him as we are all from Chicagoland.

To know the car, Larry, Glo, and Ed and the work, I am simply amazed!

All around this is a great, great art show to kick off the New Year! Everyone that has contributed has done great work here.
