Ok, got some work in progress this week...a wide variety of projects in the studio right now. I have a custom motorcycle that I'm painting the tins for...here is a sneak peak at the first rough sketch...for the top of the tank

A current project almost completed. 1926 Elgin Moto-Bike dubbed "Moto-Speed" Bike rides on 700c or 28inch Velocity Wheels with a Nexus 7 Speed out back. Custom chiseled modern sprocket made into a 1" pitch to accomodate a vintage crank. Still needs the crank installed and a set of bars. Gonna be fast!

Here is that 32 I showed last week - done this time.
It will be a gift for the car's owner...
Not the wheels I would have picked - but...
This was a really fun one to do - got to practice my chrome...
Mixed medium, marker, pencil, acrylic sticks, acrylic paint.
I am not brave enough to attempt oil without training which I have never had, I am only participating here - you guys are my inspiration - the art we post with here is incredible!! I am honored to be seen near it.

You gonna build that roadster, Jeff? Wow is that cool !!:cool::cool:

I posted a piece earlier, but I wanted to comment on a few...

Max - Love the graphic style of "Out of Order", and great use of color values!
Corvette Bob - How do you find the time to do all that masking? The bottom one is especially cool.
Gary C. - Awesome work as always, but you don't need me to tell you that.
Dutch Courage - Acme Speedshop is excellent, especially the skull. So is the Roadrunner logo. Just great work.
Norwell - You're a cross between inspiring, and the feeling that there's no point in anyone else trying. You're just too good in so many different styles, thanks for sharing.
rudolf - Love that Nomad, and the whole composition.
flyingp - Nice card! I love how crisp your work is.
ewt2 - Always love sketch work. I gotta try that sometime. :-)

There's bunch more great work here, but after a while, I feel like a kiss ass. Just felt like I wanted to let some people know their work is appreciated. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Hey Ruben Nice work on the painting. I was looking at that photo just this morning in that Genat/Cox book. I see you left out one person. Nice attention to detail, I don't seem to have that kind of patience for oils. Anybody seen Tingler lately?
Ed T- Love the sketches just the way they are.

Here's a little board sketch I did for a show that has aired. I had to do a "Simpsonized"
parody of "Red Hot Riding Hood" showing the dangers if exposing the eyes directly
into a solar eclipse.

This sketch was a doodle I did for fun. (it is 2.25" x 1.65", ink and graphite.)

Hi Guys! The first time for me on the H.A.M.B.
I'm a freelance advertising artist. I use Photoshop for the sketching and illustrations. In my spare time I'm busy with Kustom-art and pinstriping..

The "patina" NY, I made for a friend. Hopefully this is his next service-car for his shop "fifty-eight" in the Netherlands.

I did the two night-scenes about 2 months ago, "free work"...

The green dragster was a job for the Dutch Chevrolet dealerships.
It was a series "unusual cars" for a dealer action on the Aveo.
The advertising guys did'nt know about Hemi's, so I put a big Hemi on the dragster. All the Chevy dealers in Holland had a big Hemi on their showroom windows for almost 2 months...lol

The Fender Telecaster is for the guitar custom-shop rebelrelic in Amsterdam.
were going to do a "relic" pinstripe series.

Finally some "tiki" practice.....

Hi all. Havent posted in a while and am completely shitfaced after company party.
This is also way OT but it's my first Lithography, so I'm quite proud. This is a very traditional printing method. Printed directly on a slab of lime stone. Not like what the americans call lito. Look it up if you like to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithography
I drew the original directly on the face of the stone. Theres more to come, so please bear with me on the OT thing. BTW: God Jul (swedish) means Merry Christmas in english. –To all of you great artist on the HAMB!!!!

Ruben, that is my favorite car book by far! That painting is nothing short of

I'm a real sucker for this one. I previewed the magazine last year, even planned to buy this issue and get signed up. Not sure why it never happened. I'm sorry to hear it didn't make it, there was a quality to it that went above and beyond most others. Like Zombie's rag, you can feel the passion and sense the 'family run' orientation of it. I was really hoping they'd make it big.

So what kind of drawing does a guy working on 5 days with less than 3 hours of sleep, on
average, drawing nothing but Simpsons characters, in black and white, in tiny little panels,,(did I mention the no sleep thing?) 89% of which scenes include
