mine is just a picture i resized...it has to be REAL small..80 x 80 pixels....i used Irafanview to do it

When the avatar is resized that is all the bigger it can be. Other avatars I see are larger than a postage stamp. Help!

If you download irfanview (irfanview.com) you can change size and quality easily then save as a gif and get a high quality avatar...

You all have been a lot of help. I have got my avatar on but is way too small and no one can see it. I tried IrfanView but it still can't fix the avatar. It appears crookid on posts but in profile it is straight but still can't see it. On others I see are larger than a postage stamp, even on their bio page.
