Hi everyone!
Just signed up for the H.A.M.B. after hearing about it for years. Looks to be a group of people like myself, those who actually wrench on thier own cars!
I've built rods and restored cars over the years and I really do like the street rod portion of the car hobby the best! I am looking forward to learning a lot from the board members here!:)
Take care,
Tim

Thanks, guys!
Sure is a lot of great info on this site! I'm looking out my patio door at 8 inches of snow and 10 degrees, so my rodding season of 2009 is certainly over! I'll have to hang out over here and wait for spring! Thanks again for the welcome!

HenryJ,
I better quit whining about the weather in the Twin Cities, you folks from up North refer to us as the "Banana belt" down here! We did get hammered on Wednesday and are looking at another 2-4 inches in time for Monday morning rush hour! So much for Global Warming in Minnesota!
Take Care,
Tim:)

Doug,
Thanks for the welcome! Love your 36 Roadster in your avatar! Helped a friend put a Mustang II under a 36 3 window a number of years ago, always liked those cars!

Glen Eisel built the car. When he passed away, his son Bill got the car. I haven't seen it anywhere since then. Red 36 3 window 350/350 combo, Western Bullets, rumble seat and a rear mounted spare with a chrome and painted cover. Used to say "The Red Bitch" on the spare tire cover until someone keyed the paint in Wards parking lot on University avenue in St. Paul!

Thanks, Guys!
Where is Birnamwood, WI? I would like to check out the speed shop, next best thing to going to a junkyard for me!
Tim, I built a '37 Chevy 2 door back in the early '80's Red, Nova subframe (before Mustang II became the rage!), had a BUick 252 V-6 with an Edelbrock performance package, did that car sound great! Ran out nice too and did low 20's on the road.
ZZ-Iron, don't know what took me so long either, but glad to be here and happy that there are other msra guys here; at least the more informed ones are anyways! I usually attend all 3 days of BTT50's look forward to it all year long!
Rusty, my dad worked at FMC in Fridley for 35 years, 1953 to 1988 so I know that area pretty good!
Take care guys!
Tim:)
