Feels kinda strange, but I guess someone has to get it started.
It was done last week, but I did the twin engine rail car in the HAMB auction. (first pic)
Then I built the Desk Top Art Work 50's style shop pickup over in the classifieds. (#2pic)
Then I got a real good start on Desk Top Art Work 30's style shop truck, yet to be completed. Originally I intended on it having full fenders, running boards, and a full hood. Now I am undesided about the hood. fenders & boards. What do you guys think? Gene

Nick,
The Friday Art post is an every week deal. It usually starts on Thursday (Friday in the land down under) and lasts into the weekend. This is the place where the artists (and wannbe artists like me) post the Art Work we have done during the last week (weeks, months, or years before). The Art Work ranges from painted pictures, pin stripping, photos, sculptures, and on and on. I've not been here very long but have seen the Friday Art Post go 7-8 pages long! There is much tallent here and the Friday Art Post gives us the chance so show off a little. Everyone is welcome to post what ever they consider "art".
There is also a Sunday Model Car post, a Tuesday Mystory Picture of the week, sometimes we get a story time and who knows what else. We also get great tech posts, how to's, and tips and tricks.
Bet you thought this was just a Triditional Hot Rod Board? Gene

Not really art, but it's been fun playing with these toys. The 32 is a model, and the bike is a toy I "bobbed". Those are tiny PBR and Old Style cans!
We're having kind of a hotrod "build off" with models. I'll post the finished results when they are all done.

I know its a early 50's Pontiac "deluxe" insert (had one on my '52), I think the rest is a modified later pontiac or a custom one-off, especially the surround hoop.

Zombie,
Those are awesome drawings. There are alot of original styling ideas in them.
I like the squared off, reversed out panels on the pickup. The square shapes tie in with the boxy shape of the cab.
Perfect example of "it's not how you draw, it's WHAT you draw".

Start of my sleeves - which are covering up the horribly done flames on my right arm. I would have sat through a couple more hours of work, but the shop started to get busy so I put my tats on hold. Eventually that whole arm is going to be a bunch of Roth monsters above the Indian Larry tribute, with a radir wheel and piecrust whitewall slick on my elbow.
