Didn't see a thread and It's been a few weeks since I had a break...but here is the new stuff I've managed to get finished....as always the fringe of OT!

Got some new stuff done with paint pens as I've been on the road and I can't fly with my 1shot....

Painted on a piece of sheet music I cleared and stained....

I started this one a few months ago... Finally finished it! I went for a repetition of pattern theme with all the teeth. It's blasted and cleared... the connecting rods looked so good cleaned up, i didn't want to paint it! 12"wide x 16"tall

Yeah! Nice to wake up and seeing so much good stuff. All of you did some quallity pieces this time.

Sander - Cool sketching. I particullarly like the last truck-design. A bit volksrod-esque.
Church - That IS a different and VERY cool design! btw, a friend of mine was busy ordering some Church-shirts for me. Can't wait to proudly wear your stuff.
Plummad - Nice watercolor. It reminded me so much of a 'tattoo-design' I made some 5+ years ago:

The original design had a different head with a face that didn't suit the guys taste. It was too small for me (and for the tattoo) to detail it, but I did so anyway. Made a new, bigger Elvgren-esque head, and photoshopped it on the smaller pinup design. Eventually the tattoo-version ended up more of a tradtional-tattoo than a realistic/romantic-pinup.

I realised I was just rehashing stuff I did a long time ago... First of all, I've done a Batmobile before... Well, that is... I did a CATmobile before:

The resemblance is obvious... BUT, it wasn't this painting why it bothered me. It was a goauche I made for myself. And a few years back I already gave that one a make-over. I turned the 'Kitty' into a librarian for a rock'n'roll-poster...

The Library as client meant a really tight budget so I re-used the Daf as an illustration for the poster. Sometimes, commishioned work is so much fun when there's not much money involved. It gave me a lot of freedom and input from others to realize my follow-up ideas...

Wow! Next week, I'm staying up till midnight just so I can be on the first page...hehehe. Seriously though, I'm inspired each week by what I see here. You guys are talented! Particularly the pen, pencil and paintbrush guys. I can't draw water, much less an image. But that being said, I'm posting two images this week that I'm particularly proud of. Not because they are good, but because I created the background from scratch with PS patterns and brushes, rather than using another photo. I would appreciate any comments.

It was a marathon drive leaving after thanksgiving dinner, straight through the night, arriving in the morning in Moore OK for a tattoo session with fellow Road Devil (to be) Reverend Jimmy Vegas then back in the truck to meet with the rest of Tornado Alleys finest Road Devils. Drink 'til you pass out. Wake up and shove the 29 body in the back of the '05 F-150 and do the boot scoot back to where the tin came from, arriving as the sun comes up on Sunday morning.

I like odd cars...This is kinda what I would do to a '60 Studebaker Lark, somewhat extensive metal fabrication (but not overwhelming) and '57 Golden Hawk elements thrown in for Pizazz.
I live in the valley of the undone art, but tried my hand in using color on half the drawing.

FRED, I encourage you to at least look into the Cintiq on the Wacom web sight. I love mine. Can be costly, but bargains can be found and it can pay for it's self within a few jobs.

I was in the "land from down under" a few times. I seen a few morphadites resembling half Ford Torino and half Chevy Chevelle driving around Perth. It was kind of freaking me out when I first seen 'em. What was I seeing? Utes or Holdens or?

I have to admit i love your stuff also. As far as artwork goes, it somehow has the ability to transport one into another time/place whenever looking at it. Phenomenally good work. It reminds me of watching saturday morning speedracer reruns, those boat-flaked fiberglass bumper car rides, and crazy illustrations on 60's model car boxes, but funkier and edgier.

Clysdale and Robin B. = rulers !!Lid painted for Andy Camay. Arthur Fulmer helmet i darkened up with some kandy green and a variegated gold leaf "thong" :D anyway this helmet wasnt dis-assembled. All trim, hardware and padding was left intact. Just alot of careful masking going on.
