Just wanted to thank you guys for letting a couple of my buddies run at the Drags.
Their cars weren't considered traditional, but ya let em in anyway.

Their cars?
Chuck's was the blown big block 48 Chevy pickup.

David's was the 68 R code Mustang, he was the 69 year old guy.

Chuck had never been on a track and was kinda intimidated by the whole process, but after the weekend he hasn't stopped talking about it.

David and his wife told us , it took them back to 1969 when he was racing his 68 R code Mustang every weekend. He was thrilled to get to relive some of his past and I think ya'll made his weekend. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Root it was nice to meet you! The DragnFly is cool. Really looking forward to next year, hopefully I will have something will be drivin then. Spent all day today finally putting the SBC back together for my 32. Too bad today wasnt 3 weeks ago. No problem Root, We don't want to be hard asses, we just want every one to have fun.

I think the only time we'd have to start to be more strict is if we start to have 30 muscle cars showing up.

There is a race at little river in May put on by our buddies from the hill country street rods club that has a muscle car class and a hot rod class.

I'm glad they had fun, tell em' thanks for coming.

It was fun to see that car run. I dig muscle cars. I'm glad that he came out but I'm also glad he didn't win.
