hello everyone, im trying to find if anyone has used a ford ranger frame with a 1939 ford truck???
Don't do it, you'll make it worth 1/3 as much as an original chassis! Upgrage your frame and it will be much better, and less work as well! There's a thread about that so go to the search feature and check it out brother...I think the guy was building a forty sedan and asked about an S-10, no different that your idea. DON'T !

It's hard enough to line up front sheet metal on '38-'39 Ford trucks with the original frame. Ask me how I know that, see photo at right. It would be a nightmare with a different frame, unless you use one of the aftermarket frames that is built to the same dimensions and shape as the '35-40 Ford frames. Chassis Engineering makes everything you need to hang whatever drivetrain and suspension you want on the stock frame.

Whats wrong with the original frame? You will be much happier with the truck if you just use the original frame. Just my opinion, it is your truck.
