Hey Poncho,
Great car, should be a fine start. It's nice to see how solid the body is. No rusted out fender eyebrows or the proverbial "Pontaic Punch" in da nose. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Congraulations!

A good looking Poncho. '62's are one of my favorite Pontiacs. One of the guys I worked with on 2nd shift at the Chevy plant here had a '62 Catalina with a 389 4spd. He did just one thing to the car and that was to install a 3.90 rear. With the Wide ratio trans that thing was a blast in the first three gears. He had a set of Bucron (butyl rubber) tires on the back and it just flat hooked up in low gear. We had some good times with that car after getting out of work at 11:30 pm and street racing until the wee hours of the morning.

Congrats..I see some kinda fender emblems behind the front tire that American Ponchos don't have. May I assume it's a Canadian Pontiac and that is prolly has a 283 or 327 or [gasp!] a chevy 6 banger?
Looks very nice.
