This is an early sixties Chassis Research Dragster. It has a banjo rearend and a Kent Fuller frontend. I was told this is the car that appeared in the Feb.1964 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. It was built by Richard Blackman and Jim Albert. Motor is NOT included.

Is that the "technicolor dreamboat" (TM) in the background? You oughta be able to get a little more than that, seeing how it's shared a garage with that famous car.

Didn't the TE440 Chassis Research cars have a 3" O.D. bottom frame rail, along with a, 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 top fraim rail? Was this a Chassis Research kit that some one welded together with changes to the frontal frame ?
