My friend Roger, NovaMan396 on Flickr, took this photo and asked if I would do some artwork on it. I told him I liked the car but not the color ....but would give it a shot. All I could think of was the green puke in the movie The Exorcist and the Green Goblin. I went with the one that I thought would be less offensive to the owner.

I did up a design for my buddies at Volksrods. They wanted to do something along the lines of those hot rod gang type movie posters with a Volks Rod along side a 50's custom. It's meant to be somewhat tongue and cheek so the characters are cartoon like rather than rendered too serious. Here's what I came up with still using their volksrod theme:

Not sure if this fits, but my son Duncan(6 yrs old) and a fabulous mig welder already, decided a few weeks ago that he wanted his own garage. So his Papa made him this little garage to use as his own little shop. For him, being way to much like me, said it needed paint, company logos, and some stripes. So I said ok, i'll put some on there...........oooooohhhhh no, he would have none of that, he wanted to do it. So he painted the garage, I laid out the logo, and he used a #00 lettering quill to fill it in and then a #02 sword striper to do the rest......all of it himself. I'll say he's got some talent, but still a shaky hand, but it's a start. He wanted a pic posed with a few of his cars so we could take a pic, and have it enlarged and framed to hang on the wall at my shop.....still waiting on the enlargement to come back. But here's the pic....Enjoy the 6 yr old simplicity.

Great work everyone I have been on the road like crazy this week shooting senior pics and off topic cars and bikes.

Here is a outake from last night. I call it dont you hate when bums come up and ask if they can clean your wheels for a dolla lol.

that's funny. I would probably have named it, " don't you hate cleaning wheels and not getting paid". I guess point of view makes all the difference.

Itsa been a while since I have posted.

Here is what Im working on now. Ceramic hub caps.

Right now I have four molds..late 40's Oldsmobile,35 Chevy,50 Pontiac, and 55 Mercury. All stuff is for sale and more caps to come. If you want a specific make let me know.

You can use the insert image to link to your photo URL on your picture host site. It will show up as large as the photo which in your case is a rather large 2999px × 2319px. Lots of good free pic hosting sites to use.

Jerracer on the History VINTAGE SPRINT CAR PIC THREAD, 1969 and older only please. tried to post this so I am trying to for him.

I dug out that painting done by Paul Knierim back in 63 and posted some pics of it.
Funny story- He came by my shop back in 2000 and couldn't remember doing it.
My dad won it as a door prize at the 63 CRA banquet.
