Listing this for my lady-friends papa, thought someone on here might be interested:
1955 Buick Super, four door sedan, rebuilt 322 V-8 Engine, over $3,500.00 invested in the engine alone. New pistons, rings, hoses, lines, plugs, etc.
Good original interior, with original plastic seat covers on seats. Car needs a carpet, and detail work / cleaning inside. This is truly a BEAUTIFUL original interior.
This is a far better project than cars at twice the price.
The original paint is still on the car. Paint colors are "Three Tone", Nile Green / Dover White / Nile Green. Needs paint. It has a few areas of rust on the body, a small hole over the left headlamp, and there are two grapefruit sized holes on the back fenders just to the rear of each back tire. The rear wheel fender openings, and the rear door lower doglegs need work, as there is some rust and rot in these areas.
The car was last driven in the Wisconsin winter in 1967. The 1967 plates are still on the car. It has been off of the road for 42 years. This is your "Barn Fresh" find.
The Buick has 71,545 Original Miles on it. It is very solid and very straight.
Car has front power seats, spotlight, power steering, power brakes, (Needs brakes to be rebuilt yet, I have new brake wheel cylinders, hardware kits, and hose in boxes ready for the new owner to install!)
Car will also need exhaust work.
Chrome is in fair to good condition, some light surface rust in the hidden areas, very solid though. It has four Goodyear Eagle GT 15 inch tires on it.
I bought it several years ago from the original owner's estate, I have lost interest in the Buick. I have over $6,000.oo invested in the car, but I will sell for a loss, as I need the garage space. $4,500.00 or best offer to a good home.
If interested, PM me! I can give you his contact information so you can deal directly with the source. Also, super interested parties can request a CD with over 130-some pictures which he will ship for the magic price of FREE (the CD).
Thank you for your interest.
Interested Buyers only please.
Best Regards,
Gayl
