My name is Mike and I been involved with cars since High school back in 1977. I have owned a 67 and 79 camaro,a 68 firebird, 68 cougar and several custom trucks. The camaro's were both Pro Street cars with big blocks and full frames.
The car I have now is a 6" chopped VW with a Carson convertible top. I have liked lead sleads for years. I have been looking for a 1959 or 1960 Cadillac coupe. I will consider all cars, but I do not want a rust bucket. I live in Houston Tx. and will travel for the right car. I bought a 62 Cad coupe last Oct. out side of Chicago and when I went too pick it up it had lots of rust (the owner said it had a little rust and was from Tenn.). This was a wasted 2500 mile trip.
If any one has any leads please let me know.
Thanks,
Mike (60cad)

Dont hammer the man, he posted in classifieds was told to post intro here first. Now he can go to classifieds not get hammered for no intro. Welcome to the HAMB. I have bought several cars from a fella lives near me, he had about 12 cars sinking into the central Texas sand, so far I have bought 5 from him. Next most interesting one (I hauled 50 Ford 2dr home 2 weeks ago) is a baby blue mid 60s Cad 2dr, complete car, I dont need any more projects but I like airing up those old tires and putting them up on blocks. Car looks to be in fair shape, dont see any rustout.
You dont want to talk about Camaros or VWs here HAMB police will slam you, traditional rods & customs only, Cad fits good. Happy Cad hunting!

Huuuu, damned if you do, damned if you don't (do the intro!)...sure seems that way, eh 60 Cad?
Forget about the VW's and Camaros and Chevelles...they ain't traditional on this board.
Now then, how much you want to spend for a 2 door hardtop...here in Denver...relatively rust-free? Iknow of two...one pricey...one not so?
AND, being a self-appointed member of the HAMB police, I'd say the intro needed some work, but, seeing as how you're a Cad man (or wanna-be) we'll let it slide...so, welcome to the House of HAMB.
BTW, I own and am working on a '48 Cad Sedanet, my bro owns/drives a '54 Cad Coop DeVille 2 door hardtop and my son owns/drives a '59 Caddy Coop DeVille...like to keep those Cads in the family!
